Hi, I’m Nikillia, a devoted mother of seven (six amazing girls and one wonderful boy), founder of A Mother’s Haven and AMH Remedies. I am certified full spectrum doula, and placenta encapsulation specialist based in South Florida.

Through A Mother’s Haven Doula and Placenta Services, I support birthing people and families throughout Broward County and surrounding South Florida communities, providing compassionate guidance during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey.

My Why

My journey into birth work began more than 20 years ago when I supported my first doula client. From that moment, I knew my purpose was to walk alongside families during one of the most transformative times of their lives.

I believe every birthing person deserves to feel seen, heard, and safe during their pregnancy and birth experience. While the disparities affecting Black and Brown mothers first called me into this work, I believe that ALL women regardless of race or background—deserve care that is respectful, informed, and personal. I’ve witnessed too many families navigate pregnancy and postpartum without the support they deserve. My mission is to help change that by providing compassionate doula support, holistic birth guidance, and postpartum care for families throughout South Florida.

What I Do

As a birth doula and postpartum support provider, I guide families through pregnancy, labor, and early parenthood with calm, knowledgeable support.

My services include birth preparation, comfort techniques during labor, birth advocacy, postpartum guidance, and professional placenta encapsulation for families across South Florida.

I support a variety of birth journeys, including surrogacy journeys and families navigating pregnancy or infant loss, always honoring the unique story of each family I serve. In these moments, my role is to offer steady support, understanding, and a safe space for families to process and move through their experience with care.

In addition to doula care, I offer herbal wellness products through AMH Remedies, thoughtfully crafted to support pregnancy, postpartum healing, and overall maternal wellness.
