Raw Dehydrated Encapsulation - From its unprocessed state, the placenta is dehydrated, mashed into a powder, and then placed in capsules. Although some who consume raw foods may prefer this approach, there is no evidence to suggest that it is more nutrient-dense than the conventional approach.

*Destroys any possible bacteria that maybe present on the placenta.
Herbal Steamed Encapsulation - Referred to as the Traditional Chinese method where gentle steaming is done to the placenta with fresh sliced lemon, peppers, and ginger. With the addition of the herbs and the beneficial properties they each bring; it is believed to warm the body internally to aid in optimal healing. The substance is subsequently dehydrated at 165F, crushed into a powder, and put into capsules.
